Welcome to Jose Angel Cardenas Early Childhood Center!
I am honored to be the Site Manager at Jose Angel Cardenas Early Childhood Head Start Center and have the opportunity to serve the students and families of the Edgewood community. This year marks my 17th year in Edgewood ISD and starting my third year at Jose Cardenas. I am the proud graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and attended the University of Texas at San Antonio and earned a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies. I specialized in Bicultural and Bilingual Studies with an endorsement in Early Childhood Education and a Masters in Education with a concentration in Instructional Technology.
I come to Cardenas ECC with years of experience as a classroom teacher, Instructional Technology teacher, Instructional Facilitator and Assistant Principal.
I believe that working together we can provide our students with an exceptional learning environment where they will learn, play and grow.
